Your Role & Responsibilities:
• Take ownership of designing technical architectures and financial estimations for complex client solutions, collaborating cross-functionally with sales, internal departments, and external suppliers to deliver comprehensive proposals on schedule.
• Leverage broad multidisciplinary technical knowledge—spanning electrical control frameworks, mechanical design, communication network integration, and kinematic motion systems—specifically applied to automated fluid delivery and surface-finishing technologies.
• Translate client inquiries into robust, application-specific technical strategies.
• Partner with commercial and project execution groups during client consultations and alignment sessions.
• Analyze client documentation and formulate formal technical clarifications and compliance responses.
• Draft detailed scope-of-work documents to solicit contractor bids and lead vendor alignment meetings.
• Compile complete proposal deliverables, incorporating mathematical calculations, technical justification text, and hardware specifications.
• Formulate macro-level phase schedules and critical-path timelines using industry-standard project planning tools (such as MS Project) for proposed deliverables.
• Project internal labor resource allocations and staffing footprints required to successfully execute proposed scopes of work, aligning with high-level timelines.
• Perform site evaluations with external contractors to verify physical constraints and secure accurate pricing inputs for financial models.
Your Qualifications & Competencies:
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or a minimum of 5 years of hands-on background in factory automation, emphasizing control systems, mechanical design, and industrial robotics within advanced manufacturing or finishing sectors; financial estimation capabilities are strongly valued.
• Demonstrated history of coordinating and collaborating with third-party installation contractors.
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms (such as SAP) and multilingual capabilities (specifically German) represent distinct advantages.
• Proficiency with standard office productivity suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and computer-aided drafting software (AutoCAD).
• Working comprehension of automated robotics and machinery utilized in specialized industrial finishing environments.
• Solid foundation in electromechanical engineering theory and operational control architectures.
